I believe I remember hearing of a story that was sort of the complement of this one... as I recall, there was a guy who was, unbeknownst to him, dating twins. That is, he thought he was dating just one girl, but she and her twin sister would swap back and forth going out with him.

It so happened that he got them both pregnant around the same time. When they revealed that there were two of them, both demanding child support, he fought it in court. His argument was that he should only be liable for supporting one child since he had thought he was only sleeping with one woman.

Apparently the court didn't buy it, and he had to support them both.
