bobcat again
Folks who have been out around dusk report that the bucks are engaging in battles for the rut. I've only seen the does and the fawns, but today a doe showed me where to look.
A bobcat scampered down from the meadow to the gulch in front of me. I did my best to snag some video of it in the distant forest gloom, but the results are not impressive. It was not aware of me until it looked back with some dismay. It's much better to meet face to face.
