I love you, Mom
Nov. 13th, 2007 11:05 amMy mom is on a month-long cruise all the way around Australia. I suppose this is partly a 25th anniversary celebration. But I think the cooler part is that she has adopted yet another online identity in order to facilitate communications from the ship. That's on top of having become a RN while I was growing up, and this year a long-haul trucker carrying oil well parts.
I'm sure that the navigators on the ship are principally using GPS, but my mom is clearly charting her course along the lines of J.M. Barrie's best known work:
Second to the right, and straight on 'till morning.
P.S.
Mom, if you read this, I've just found a check for $50 from around last Christmas which I seem to have neglected to cash. Let me know what you'd like me to do with it.
