if you've got a heart

Today I drove my elder daughter to school along with a load of sleeping bags. Those will be used as props in the next drama for her video production class. I don't know the whole plot, but it involves waking up and encountering Santa Claus. I asked if she would be taping today and she said no, they didn't have their fireplace background for the green screen yet.

Silly me, I asked where they get backgrounds. She replied "books".
Duh. Right, we didn't have this sort of thing when I was in middle school.

But then it struck me that this was just like Art Clokey's Gumby -- she can walk into any book. I said that to her, but she has never seen Gumby. Oh well...
