capsaicin? moo!

There are heifers and calves all over the meadow. I'm surprised they can make much of the grass at this dry season. Yesterday someone had apparently noted their plight, for there was a load of uneaten human food dumped just over the barbed wire. It was bread and donuts and veggies -- including bell pepper.

What do a cow's stomachs make of capsaicin? I don't know.
They were mooing today, but in numbers too large to attribute to the few peppers I saw.
