I want to see my house ... from space!
Dec. 21st, 2006 01:54 pmLast night my elder daughter reaped the benefit of longstanding patience and played Mary in the Christmas pageant. My younger daughter took her place as one of the little angels.
Afterward we drove through the Oak Creek/Quien Sabe neighborhood to look at the displays of holiday lights. We found ourselves part of a small parade following a tour van from Oak Tree Villa. This is one of those neighborhoods whose residents are lampooned in the recent movie Deck the Halls with Danny DeVito.
DeVito does an excellent job of delivering the line describing his goal for Christmas, and there is a house on Lucia Lane which must be quite a sight from the KeyHole satellites. It's a pity the Air Force can't publish the images.
