The plane for SJC was late coming in to Las Vegas. I'll never know why for sure, but as the passengers exited a murmur went through the gate, and some people stood.

After the event people started talking amongst themselves. Wayne Newton, his wife, and their daughter had been on the plane.

Flat Stanley and I missed it all.
