Orson Welles and Kliban's cats

While pondering how to dispose of much of my father's e-waste -- including a radio which probably received the original Orson Welles broadcast of War of the Worlds -- I happened to encounter a web site about Mercury Theatre which left me saying "how cool" and (given that its creator mentions limited bandwidth) wondering who I dared to tell about it first.

While I was pondering the other things the web site creator has linked I encountered this scan of a Kliban cat sketch linked from this story. I know one of Kliban's daughters from morris dancing, so I knew who to tell first.

One of the coolest things about the internet is the way a little information can spread a lot of joy.
