The poppies have finally started blooming at the higher elevations of my commute. This is notably late, for I have pictures from 21 years ago which show them in full glory by March 23.

The cessation of the rain has elicited other biological activity as well. Artemis and Athena may recall how I disposed of banana peels in honors English, but in this case I am not responsible for the litter nor the posing of the model.
